Over the years (wow it’s weird that we can say that), Owen and I get a lot of questions about life on the road and we’re ready to start tackling those questions one by one. First on the list? Free time on the road, how much we have and what we do with it!

Another sad day is upon us. We're putting our dear Amelia up for sale. She's a 1985 Toyota Sunrader 4x4.

Hey Friends! I hope that this post finds you all well! We just wanted to pass along an update on how things are going with the build and other exciting things that we have in the works!

This past week Owen and I sat down to look for a picture and remembered that we had yet to share our favorite images from 2017. We know, we know...we're about five months late getting this posted, but better late then never right?

For the past six months our lives have been completely consumed by building out Amelia. We're so thankful to have had you guys with us every step of the way with suggestions and words of encouragement! We've received a ton of really great feedback from you all about how much you enjoy watching the build process so I thought that as our build is drawing to a close we could point you in the

Who's ready to dive into the nitty gritty of our electrical set up? If you're not, Pikachu will show you the door. 

See the look on Owen's face? Figuring out our water system has left us stumped and wearing this exact face, time and time again.

Even though most of our work is being done on the inside of Amelia, we never get bored of this view. To say that we're excited to be done with this build is a huge understatement.

Hey guys! Sorry you haven't heard from us in the last two weeks. "Week 18" of the build Amelia went into the shop to have a thorough checkup,

This week I want to start off by showing you a few pictures of the various phases of life the bed area in Amelia has gone through during this build. I think it's the best way to truly appreciate how she looks now. 

We feel really close to being done with Amelia, even though we know that we've a few more weeks of work to do.

The last step before we could install our top cabinets was getting our button latches and hinges installed in the doors. I was under the impression that it might take a bit of work (like seemingly everything else)

At some point this week I realized, I have worked on Amelia everyday for the last month! With some of our progress lately it has opened up the ability to work on so many different projects around Amelia that I haven't even considered taking a day off because there has been so many things on my to-do list.
