Sorry about not getting anything posted last week. We had to make a quick run up to North Carolina to tend to a family matter. On the way there we got a chance to experience the Snowpocalypse in our old hometown of Atlanta, Georgia!

This past week has been pretty different from everything to date. Up until now we've been rolling smoothly through the build. The order in which we've been tackling projects has been very clear, and there was a lot needing to be worked on all at once. Until this week.

Amelia's Before Tour: Video
We thought it would be fun to give you guys a tour of our new home, a 1985 Toyota Sunrader 4x4, named Amelia. This tour is of her in her VERY original state and is likely how she came from the factory.
Oh Canada!
This summer we were headed to the west coast from Glacier National Park in Montana. Looking ahead at our path of travel we noticed that the weather was forecasted to be HOT and still.
Video Tour of Stanley
We have been toying with the idea of starting up a YouTube channel for a while now, so we thought it was high time that we make it happen. Our first video is live! It covers our build out of Stanley with a full walk through. Give it a watch, and follow the channel if you are into that sort of thing! Enjoy!

Van For Sale
Van for sale. I never thought I would have to say those words. We are so incredibly sad to part with our handsome van, Stanley.
May 2017 Recap
We started our May in Sedona, AZ. Our original plan was to be there just for a weekend, but we ended up staying a little longer to try and get more exploring out of our time there. Our campsite happened to be very close to the ancient cliff dwellings and pictographs of Palatki Heritage Site.

Radio Curious NPR Interview
We hope that you all had a great weekend! About a month ago, we were camped out in Lone Pine, California when a good looking Adventure Wagon Vanagon pulled into the spot next to us. Naturally, we needed to go over and say hi! The owner of the van, named Desert Rose, is Barry Vogel. He’s a civil rights lawyer with a long time "radio habit".

A few Weeks back we met up with Aidan Klimenko to film a short story about us and our life on the road. This is the results. Enjoy!
Keeping Clean with Vanlife
In our own research, we did not find a great deal of transparency on how to keep up your hygiene when you are living on the road. Dialing in a process to maintain our personal standards of hygiene has been a learning experience that has taken a great deal of refining.

We started the month of February making our way to the coast for an impending Baja trip. We stopped along the way in Oceanside, California to see our friends, Tierney and Cory. Oceanside was the first opportunity we had take our new surfboards out on their maiden voyage.
