Being gear heads we spend a lot of time reading reviews and selecting the perfect gear for our needs, which is why we’re so excited to finally contribute some of our own insight! First up, Hydro Flask: Trail Series!

We wanted to write a little blog post detailing some of long time and new favorites that will be on sale May 15th - May 25th. About a month ago we filmed a Day in the Life: Quarantine video and are finally getting around to releasing it.

This is a blog post/video that we’ve been looking forward to sharing for some time now! Today we’re going to be covering all of the edits that we’ve done to our home on wheels over the last year of living to it.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly two years since we completed our Sunrader build, but here we are. A lot has changed since then and although the Sunrader didn’t pan out for us, we’re still immensely proud of what we learned and accomplished through the build process.

There is no better time to read something that inspires or lifts your spirits! So we’ve decided to put together a reading list of our favorite books! Most you will find are real adventure/travel inspired. Go figure! 

Things are really weird right now for all of us. I wanted to drop you all a quick line to let you all know what’s going on with us. Today we’re going to be talking through the installation of a new dash mount for our 2019 Toyota Tundra! For a long time, we’ve been looking for a way to get our truck’s dash organized because we carry a few different electronic devices while we’re driving in the cab.

In my own personal quest for a more sustainable lifestyle, I’ve found that our clothing and gear choices are a huge area of opportunity to improve on that frequently overlook, so I wanted to take some time to dive into the details and learn how we can make more informed decisions when it comes to buying clothes and gear for the outdoors!

The Mojave Road is a historic road that was originally created by the Mojave People who lived on the banks of the Colorado River. The dense network of paths were created as a trade route across the Mojave Desert to the Pacific Ocean.

Death Valley is one of our favorite National Parks. It’s a landscape unlike any other and offers a wide variety of things to see and do. Though we’ve been to Death Valley over five times we still manage to find more to explore! Here is a small sampling of our favorite things to do in Death Valley.

Hey guys! After leaving Buena Vista, Colorado it was officially time for us to start migrating towards Vegas over the next month. Owen did an amazing job of picking an adventurous route to get us there. Our first leg of the journey was the Rimrocker Trail.

I’ve found gift guides to be really helpful in discovering new things that I otherwise might not know about, so I figured… Being one that loves gear, does research on these things for fun, and loves sharing the things that genuinely make a difference in our lives… I should make a holiday gift guide! So here goes nothing!

By now I think you have gathered that we love to hike and talk about gear. So when REI reached out and asked us to put some gear to the test it felt like a match made in heaven! We decided to make a real adventure out of it!

We put together a little travel guide for Buena Vista and the surrounding area of the things that we’ve eaten, drank, hiked, and rafted all of which we’ve loved. So here’s what we recommend!

We’ve now been living in Roxy for 9 months now! Crazy! Which, I know, makes this 6-month review video a little tardy. However, a lot of people have been curious about what we think about our build after living in it for a while.
