Yellowstone & The Beartooth Highway | Meant To Be Series Premiere
No matter how many times we put a series together, the feeling of sharing the first episode seems to remain the same. It simply doesn’t feel real! We’re super excited to present this to you and we hope you enjoy the start of this new series, “Meant to Be”.
Yellowstone National Park
We have been to Yellowstone so many times, but we still keep visiting. Maybe it’s the otherworldly geothermal features, or maybe it’s the chance to see bison, bears, and wolves. Whatever the reason, this place captivates in a way few places do.
We spent the better part of a week hopping around the northern half of the park and getting our fill of this dream land.
Yellowstone is home to over half of the world’s geysers and hydrothermal features! Any guesses on how many that actually is? Over 10,000! Yes, that’s a lot of geothermal features. They consist of geysers, mudpots, hot springs, steam vents and many others. They all seem to have their own unique character and the variety is truly incredible.

This time through Yellowstone we saw more Bison than we ever have. At one point there must have been close to 1,000 visible at once. It’s truly a sight to behold and I can only imagine what the enormous herds of the past must have been like at a million Bison strong.
Beartooth Highway
The Beartooth Highway has been on our radar for nearly a decade, but for one reason or another we have continued to skip over it. Enough was enough, and it was finally time to change that.
What we found on the Beartooth was a road that feels like you’re driving on top of the world. This tiny ribbon of pavement winding through enormous alpine terrain is something you don’t see very often. It’s a glimpse into a world that is usually locked away behind miles of steep terrain.

We got in a few hikes and truly enjoyed our time on the Beartooth Highway. The road is absolutely spectacular and we saw a few bears, marmots and vista after vista.
You could spend weeks here exploring the dirt roads and offshoots. Unfortunately for us, they were still closed as we had arrived a little too early in the season. Oh well, just more reason to come back.

Our life runs on Redarc! We’re able to work from the road because of the incredibly complex power management system and solar panels from Redarc. You’d be hard pressed to find a better power management system anywhere.
